Description of works
The construction site involved the ancient Church of Santa Maria Nuova, located in the historic city centre of Treviso within the large complex of the former revenue office, a desecrated building modified to be used as an archive and subsequently abandoned. The transformation, respecting the historicity and the pre-existing facilities, required the restoration and construction of new floors, all according to the thorough project by the architect Tobia Scarpa who showed off his style in every construction element.
