Description of works

“A round table open towards the sky”. It was in this way that the architect Baeza wished to interpret the theme of the infant school for Ponzano Children’s Centre in Ponzano Veneto. CEV, as the general contractor, therefore saw to the construction of a building with a square body, at the centre of which stands a volume which is much taller than the rest of the building used for social purposes. The central building is closed within a circular perimeter wall with which it creates four areas open at the top, for educational and recreational activities for children, each characterized by a different material: wood, sand, stone and grass.
